blogger event 3

Well i woke up with another hang over but ready to rock in the blogger# 3 as i havent played alot of poker lately due to exam prep!Naturally i was pretty excited about about 2 hands in i hit kk and took quickly doubled up to 4k off the impressive Mada he had jj and nothing on the board helped him so was a good early pot. I stuck around for a bit plaing a few hands and stealing the sitting out blinds! had a pretty healthy roll with 5k heading intotop 50 positioned about 17th had aa twice and kk twice,quite a few other good pockets too. I had 55 so limped in behind the button the flop came 5jj giving me the house on the flop. He bet out and i called trying to kee my hand under the radar. The turn came 2 and so i called again. River came 7 and i thought sweet il bet himout he bet and i re raised all in for about 3.5k to my ammazement he had limped with j 2 and hit a bigger boat than mine!so yea i was knocked out on that and ended up 49th which kinda sukd as i was doin quite well and i believe i woyuld have challenged the top 10!

Cali friday freeroll

i just checked my emails this morning and found out there was a $650 freeroll with a 100 buk bounty and also a $25 one too, on live poker. ive played in a few of these but have bubbled everytime. They blinds are very strange and seem to move very fast in these tournys which kinda sucks as u have to hit your hands to progress and have any chance to money. This particular tourny i hit coldcardsmostofthe day and was forced to go all in on a j10 diamonds i hit my flush and got my stack up to around 3k which at that stage was about average. I struggled my way picking up some small pots because of some really loose play from the chipleaders. I battled my way thru to the top30 knowing top 20 paid its fair to say there were plenty of donks around i forced all in under the gun with kj os but was beaten by two guys who hit trip 4's on the turn leaving me down and out and to my amazement 20th bagging a small $6.50 pot for my time. All in all not bad tourny placing 20th out of a field of 180ish. would been nice to make top 10 but the tournament style was very hit or miss!

blogger event two

after a huge night out on the piss i woke up early especially for the blogger 2nd event. It was pretty sweet got seated with both Kanyezee and Cashline. We had quite a few gr8 players on our table so it was pretty tight. Kanyezee had a pretty bad run and got knocked out really early i was looking ok until i got dealt KK i raised preflop double theblinds which were at 75 150 i think. A player went all in for 1650 and a guy who had 4k called i went all n as u would with cowboys! they turned over ace 6 and a qj of hearts nothing helped me on the flop but two hearts came and i was a lil worried but still ahead he had 32 % on that flop nothing came on the turn but i got knoked out with a river heart. I was absolutely gutted as its a great idea the blogger and i really wna get to the top 20!!!but oh well should be pretty close to having enough points at this stage!Anyways its beer pizza fresh fish and bathurst for me today should be great!!!!Hate losing when you have the best hand and limpers kill you!!!!!!!

Hockey tourny rap up

Well hockey tourny started last sunday where i woke up a lil bit late for the blogger event at poker.com i found my self short stacked and well i doubled up a few times to about 6k i had about 30 mins b4 the van rolled up to pick me up. I continued to play premium hands only and it was all good i found my self on 20k with 19 people remaining i was in 1st place but it sucked as i had to leave in 5 minutes!!!My mate Kanyezee was doing pretty good to with around 12k at that stage. The van pulled up and i had to go so i handed it on to my flat mate packnsave. he ended up 9th but o well at least i gt money from a position in which i thought i wouldnt get any!Kanyezee finished 12th all good as we get tour points which could be very important!

Anyway back to the hockey. It was a long road trip down to the cold and windy Palmy north it took us about 6 hours in 2 vans!with a few stops for eats and leaks haha. Finally we arrived at our accomidation the ambassador motel! We settled in an headed down to the turf for training. it was a shocker the turf itself was very bumpy and uneven it was fair to say we never really adjusted to it the whole week. Every Night we had a kangaroo court and a meeting about the next days game. Some of the fines were hilarious!There was plenty of public nudity and we happened to acquire a bit of opposition team gear too! Down to the games first up we played west coast we went 4 nil down in the first 20 minutes which was pretty freaky considering we are defending champs!in the 2nd half we scored 5 unanswered goals to win 5-4. In our 2nd game we were to play the home team manawatu who had bumped up there team with a couple of NHL players. It was a hard fought game which we lost 2-1. Our next game was against wairarapa we really should have won this game but ended up drawing 3-3. Our last pool game was against the NZ police and to make the semis and edge out Wairarapa we needed to beat them by at least 4 goals. And as the pattern suggested we had a shocker of a first half going down 2 goals early on only to hit back 1 straight away the half time score was 2-1 down we came out firing and scored 6 unanswered 2nd half goals to secure a spot in the semis. We Were to play a strong opposition from the other pool it was wellington! We were very compeitive in the 1st half with the half time score 2-1 to them. The 2nd half sucked and we fell apart the side felt the pinch with a few injuries and a player pulled out due to glandular fever. final score was 9-1. The anti climax play off for 3rd and 4th was to be against nelson. Our injuries and tired legs saw us suffer another loss going down 4-3 and ending up coming 4th!which aint too bad but wasnt really where we wanted to be. The tourny and the trip home was awesum as we got totally liqoured and sung til we couldnt no more all in all a great time was had by all and what goes on tour stays on tour!haha

royal flushes!!

ive only ever had two of the elusive hand !heres some screen shots unfortunately didnt really get much reall money from em one of was in a heads up rattlesnake room and the other was in a funstep 3 which i ended up winning!! hope you guys get the joy of getting one day its quite a buzz in poker to get em!one in evry 650 thousand hands or something!

withdrawing

over the last few month i have been working very hard on findinga system in which i can withdraw money from my poker.com account. i have both a neteller account and a click to pay account now. i had to use both as i won a 100 buks on island poker from a free 10 dollars i was givin not a bad score!!! i tried to get a cheque and did recieve it but my bank in new zealand westpac didnt let me cash it as it was in us dollars from a canadian bank so i still have 100 buks sitting there for my virgin deposit on poker.com hehe!500 depositor freerolls look out! My click to pay account is verified and i purchsed a click to pay card for 10 buks US. Probably the best thing i ever did on in regards to earning money haha. the click to pay card works just like an eftpos card any cirrus machines(most in new zealand) can accept the click to pay card. you just rock up and pull free money out of the hole in the wall its great!!! the money is instant and the fees are pretty reasonable!so far it has paid for my expensive hockey fees which is a great bonus! So anyone looking to withdraw i reccomend click to pay for poker.com. Only bad thing is not all poker sites accept click to pay deposits or withdrawls but who cares poker.com my main site does!!!

pokermates nz

the primary poker forum i belong to is poker mates nz. its a really cool forum which offers acces to a variety of different sites and freerolls and so on. we play together alot and are getting to know more and more kiwis who play online and live poker which is awesome. Masala is the site administrator and he puts in a lot of work on the site and offers us alot of good opportunities. being on a poker forum site is a wicked idea for anyone wanting to learn more about the game and meet new like minded people. Another cool thing about pokermates is it is all kiwis well mainly so we will sometime in the future probably cross paths in the poker world!which is cool as it is nice to put faces to names!oh well thats a lil bit bout the forum place i call home http://pokermatesnz.suddenlaunch3.com/ its an awesome wee community we have check it out sometime!

poker.com is where all my poker playing began really. i downloaded it as a complete newbie of the game. i slowly learnt a few things and played a lot of play money to do so. i got up to 900k play money starting from 500 play money dollars it took about a month. Its amazing how much u learn in the first month or two. along with play money i played in th freerolls recording my positions in the 1st month my best placing was 56th. I quickly learned that patience is the only way to do well in these sorts of tournaments. i came 9th the first time i moneyed in a poker.com freeroll. i decided to play havana table and i made it up 2 25 dollars which i thought was pretty cool. After drinking i would come home and waste it on blackjack or on poker, needless to say i lost all my earnt money fast. A few months passed and many more hours of poker playing. i had a few more good results in freerolls but never have won one....yet ive came 2nd twice and 3rd too!i have never deposited into online poker but have been good enough to withdraw 380 dollars american which for a poor student aint bad at all!!well i dont think so anyway. i plan to keep learning by watching videos of pros and various other things you pick up along the way. fulltilt poker has a few good tips and hints which can help new players. And hopefully win more real money!!!!oh well thats me and my time at poker.com so far.il keep my wins posted as often as i can

hockey tourny coming up

im currently involved in the waikato mens hockey side! we are the defending champs of national tourny which we won last year!(sweet medals) lol. Im really excited this year as it will be held in paolmy north which means a Road Trip!!! And a big piss trip home hopefully with some medals. Tournament weeks always rock plenty of team bonding and what not also tonnes of gags and hijinks. Plus this year there is gonna be heaps of initations to the team members who are new this year. Lol and of course the youngest player does all the washing for the whole team and the only person who can help him is the dick of the day!well it promises to be a great time for all involved!il keep ya posted about how we go and any funny storys which may pop up peace out
